2 column layout with Div tags

Objective: Students will create and code an attractive 2 column HTML/CSS layout for an invented company, with code validated by the W3C validator, given a CSS template provided by the teacher and Dreamweaver Software.
  • Students will continue work on a two column HTML and CSS layout.
  • CSS template was provided yesterday and is in the FTP folder if you need it.
  • Assignment will consist of two pages, one HTML and one CSS, with the CSS page properly linked to the HTML page.
  • HTML page should contain at least 7 DIV tags - 1) wrapper/container, 2) header, 3) navbar, 4) content area, 5) box-left, 6) box-right, 7) footer
  • Content in content DIV can be generic ipsum lorem text
  • Navbar must have 5-7 working links, but the links need not go to "real" sites (but they can if you want)
  • Footer should contain a copyright notice and some other generic text.
  • Site must contain a dynamic color scheme and should be eminently readable.
  • Remember your design elements! Unity, Golden ratio, placement, white space, proportion, color theory, symmetry, proximity, repetition, etc.
