Change of Pace/Direction. Listen Up!

Gents:

We are going to switch things up a bit. Hark! Listen up. Important directions are found herein:
In the hopes of continuing to encourage stellar design work, spark creativity/work ethic and make project evaluation (grading) and peer-reviewing more efficient, we are going to modify our testing and display framework for our projects. As such the essential information you must possess is this: WE ARE GOING LIVE!

We now have a class site here:
http://studenthost.sehsapps.net/

Each of has a folder inside the root of the site. Upload your files to YOUR folder only.  You can view your files and folders live on the web. Post school-appropriate material only or I will delete it and you will lose credit and possibly face other sanctions...

I will give you FTP directions in class to upload your pages. You may still use XAMPP for testing, if you wish, but all grading will take place from the live site. (studenthost.sehsapps.net)

Here is today's agenda:

1. Check to make sure you have completed the Design Festival Typography article and emailed me your 3 answers to the questions.
2. Finish your links page assignment (Styling links - see the previous post) and upload it to your folder. This is especially important for those of you who don't have a grade yet. (See NetClassroom for grades.)
3. Begin uploading your pages to your folder.
4. Create your "homepage" by renaming a blank file as "index.html." Upload it to your folder.
5. On your index.html page, create links to three of your previous assignments and upload them as well.
   For example you might choose your typograpy lesson, your links lesson, and your Ms. Baker page to upload.
6. These will function as your PORTFOLIO. 
7. Begin to dress up your index.html page. Make it beautiful. Add some basic CSS to it. Make it yours and make it shine. We will continue to add to it as we progress to June!
